On Friday, June 27, Armenian security forces raided the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the headquarters of the Armenian Church. Their goal was to arrest Archbishop Mikael Ajapahian, a religious leader and open critic of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
