HMALS opened its doors, 60 years ago, to provide quality Armenian education for children in our community for a nominal tuition. HMALS faculty teach our students the Armenian language, songs, culture and religion. Our students participate in assemblies to commemorate major Armenian holidays and build social bonds which often last a lifetime! The academic year culminates in a year-end hantes and graduation ceremony, which showcases all that our students have learned throughout the school year.
Classes convene on Saturdays between the hours of 9:30am and 1pm at the Armenian Church of The Holy Martyrs. Students are taught in an official classroom setting with books and study material 9 grades — starting from Nursery, Pre-K, Kindergarten through 7th grade.
