This much-anticipated documentary, produced by Shant Mardirossian and award-winning director George Billard, details the unprecedented humanitarian efforts of thousands of Americans who saved a generation of orphans and refugees after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire during and after World War I. Both screenings will be followed by a Q&A with our filmmakers and historians Peter Balakian, Susan Harper, and Taner Akçam.
