This annual picnic by the ANCA in Richmond, VA is a tradition which started long before we had a Church. The Armenian Community of Richmond, Virginia began in the 1890s, many are now 4th and 5th generation. New Armenians are coming to Richmond, VA every day and joining together The St. James Armenian Church was built in 1956 Everyone comes to one church. Here you can enjoy live Armenian music by Raffi and Ensemble and also great food.
